I hope everybody’s bracing for the winter and the upcoming holiday break. For those who are working, I’m sending some good vibes.
We are post-our annual OAGS Surgical Symposium. I hope everybody who attended enjoyed it. Again, I thank the sponsors, speakers, volunteers, and our administrative assistant for their participation and contributions. The wedding I attended in Canmore was beautiful. Despite being in November, the weather was perfect for an outdoor wedding. It was plus degrees, the sun was out, and the mountains were in view. So, if you’re thinking of getting married, Canmore is a great venue!
As we head into the new year, we are reviewing things as a board for next year. Please send your feedback and survey of both the organization and our annual surgical symposium. This helps us plan and deliver something that’s to your liking as much as possible.
As with other organizations and other parts of society, the financial constraints are being felt by OAGS as well. Without sponsors and memberships, we would struggle to deliver as an organization. So, I thank all those that contribute. We are always in constant evaluation of this. We always want our members’ experience to be of value.
